I only saw about 5 min of the game. But johannson or whatever his name is has a long way to go. He was shaky and his glove is slow.

Michael -

No mention of Racine?! The local kid made by far the most saves after defending a barrage of rubber and keeping the game reasonable. Breaks my heart, no respect... throw the kid a bone, my Man.

On another one, Brandon Hagel went in for his and his weak five-hole attempt was stopped by Williamsville's own Steve Racine. But Eric Cornel swooped in and poked home the rebound on a puck that was just laying in the crease.

That isn't exactly the type of "mention" that I meant. How about some props for the fact that he stopped twice as many shots as any other goaltender in the game?

Looking to create a dynasty league with hockey buzz folks. Came close the last two years, but the numbers were just a tad too few. Almost have enough this year. PM if interested.

Is Michael's blog really incomplete cuz he doesn't mention a undrafted local goalie who was asked to participate last minute and will never sniff the NHL. No offense to the guy, but give me a break ....

You have to always show a buffalo boy love it seems which I think is kind of ridiculous
If he was head and shoulders the best player of the camp and everything I would understand

So yes I took a look at Garth's blog Lol

So let's say if we do trade Evander Kane for cam

So we would basically end up with the player that we traded for him just a little better

That's debatable. Myers has been better than Fowler to date let's just chalk up the trade to a loss and move on.

I'm exciting

Unfortunately I agree, can't win them all. Kane can still turn out to be a good player on this team if he keeps his nose clean. He has tons or talent he just needs to be a smarter player on and off the ice.

It was a risk and we lost. About the only thing good that came from it was it furthered the tank by losing a decent player and getting nothing back to play that season. Unless you count bogo

And are you exciting or excited?

I still think Kane should be Vegas bait.
No guarantees they take him, but at least he's someone to expose.
Just deal with his crap for one more year.

Not that it would ever happen but Im genuinely curious how many teams would be interested and what price if Kane was actually bought out. For a while when he was in winnipeg the perception of him (at least in canada kinda) was that yea hes a bit of problem child but he's young and the winnipeg fans aren't exactly a "fair" bunch. But in this scenario he's much older and now its two different cities in two different countries. Just a thought.

I know. I have a feeling he wants to live in a big city or Vegas, so he may not re sign with us even if he picked up his game.
I also wonder how the Pegulas feel about his actions representing the team.
20 goals is nothing to walk away from, but may be we have someone in Roc to take his place a year from now?
